Description

V88PA/PB is a vinyl primer resin (Primer) for concrete, increase adhesion between concrete and next coating, fast penetration, solid surface, heat resistance, corrosion resistance after hardening. The outer V88PA/PB surface has enough unsaturated chains, which make a perfect combination with the next coating to improve durability and engineering quality.

Precautions

  1. Before coating, it is necessary to confirm that the cement concrete meets the following conditions:

(a) Concrete maintenance time is more than about 30 days;

(b) Moisture content is lower than 8%;

(c) The compressive strength of concrete must be greater than 3000 psi;

(d) Tensile strength is greater than 300 psi;

(e) Must be followed the preparation steps;

  1. The top layer of cement concrete is recommended to be treated with a wooden trowel to ensure surface quality.
  2. If the steel trowel is used for sealing, after the concrete is hardened, a non-strength dust layer is usually formed on the surface. The dust layer can be removed by the following method:

(a) Use 10% aqueous solution of hydrochloric acid for 2 to 3 minutes (amount of about 0.7 to 1.2 kg/m), and immediately rinse with water.

(b) Remove by the wet or dry sandblasting.

(c) Remove by mechanic

  1. After V88PA/PB coating, surface stickiness will last for a while and the next coating should be implemented within 4 hours to 7 days.
  2.  Place in a cool place to ensure quality.

Usage

  1. Typical storage life at temperature below 250C to ensure the stability of the resin.
  2. Store in a cool place and avoid direct sunlight. If storage is too long, the cap can be opened to inflate air to extend its storage time.
  3. Avoid exposure to heat and liquid flammable sources.

Storage

  1. Gel time can be adjusted that depends on the rate of hardener.
  2. The gelation characteristics of V88PA/PB are affected by weather, temperature, hardener content, accelerator content and additives. Before changing the rate, it is recommended to test the gel time in small amounts to facilitate the process.
  3. Wear the clothing and gloves protective during working.
